GLASSBOY: THE NEW FILM BY SAMUELE ROSSI
IS IN PRE-PRODUCTION

“In a remote and colourful mountain province, Pino is a child like many others, but unlike the others he has an unordinary life: he lives isolated in his house, like a jailbird, because of a mysterious illness.”

A story of kids, of overcoming limits, of redemption: an adventure for and about kids looking for their place in the world.

Samuele Rossi’s second feature GlassBoy, already in pre-production, is based on the novel “Il bambino di vetro” by Fabrizio Silei, a 2011 publishing success and winner of the Anderson Prize 9-12 years old as the best children’s book.

The film is produced by Solaria Film, Peacock Film and WildArt Film with the collaboration of Echivisivi and DnArt Produzioni; with the support of Media Creative EuropeEurimages, Mibac, Toscana Film Commission – Contemporary Senses, Trentino Film Commission, Federal Department of the Interior – Switzerland and with Rai Cinema, RSI.
